As a small, family-owned business, we pour our hearts into every event we host. Our journey began in 2021 with a vision to create a space where people could connect, celebrate, and simply enjoy themselves.

We understand that planning an event can be a daunting task, which is why we are dedicated to providing personalized service from your initial inquiry to the very last guest departure.

Our team, including an incredible group of bartenders and event hosts, shares our passion for creating unforgettable experiences. We genuinely care about making your event a success and ensuring that you and your guests leave feeling better than when you arrived.

About the Owners:

Anne and Burns Aldridge

Having lived and worked in the Asheville area for over 25 years, we have built strong relationships within the community. This allows us to connect you with the best local talent, from caterers and musicians, to florists and photographers, to help bring your vision to life.

A passion for entertaining friends and family was one of the key factors leading to the creation of Circa 29, and we treat every event with the same care and enthusiasm as we would our own.

We are incredibly proud of the journey so far, having had the privilege of hosting hundreds of events and connecting with so many wonderful people.

A Step Back in Time

The name Circa 29 pays homage to the year 1929, the year our historic building was constructed.

Designed by renowned architect Douglas Ellington, this architectural gem is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. Ellington’s signature Art Deco style transformed the city’s landscape, and Asheville now boasts one of the highest concentrations of Art Deco architecture in the United States.
